MORE about fitday.com....also a question

It seems theres a lot of people here who use that site (or did for a while):)

I think the reason why I like it is that I only eat home-made whole foods that are plant based and the nutritional facts for those foods don't change much with time. I do find that almost everything I do eat, I enter manually in the custom department and then I can adjust the serving size etc.

the other thing I like is that I have had to teach myself what was a real serving size, including the nutritional information for what i ate. I might eat something that is 100 percent nutritious but eat more than is appropriate without realizing it and in turn, not lose as much weight.

? I know a lot of people are doing "diets" like atkins, south beach etc. or are eating the same foods just less of it...do those of you on diets feel that you eat nutritiously the majority of the time, but just haven't paid attention to your weight gain and so now are using a "diet" to lose the weight?

In other words, I have had to do a 180 on my eating and teach myself serving sizes, what is healthy food vs. kinda healthy vs. junk food and then make a decision about whether or not I will eat anymore unhealthy food. I've also had to work on my emotional connections with food. If I had just employed a diet like atkins, when I was done with the diet, I would MOST definitely gain it back and then some.

I've had to make a complete lifestyle change. How many of you feel you are also making lifestyle changes, rather than to just lose weight?

+++++please also, don't think I'm down on diets (atkins or otherwise) if they work for you, MORE power to you and don't stop what you're doing!++++++++++
