The first time I tried all the workout machines at the Y I could barely do a single set of 10 reps on most things, and with minimal weight. It's been about a month, and here's what I did today...

30 mins elliptical - 3000 strides, 300 cals burnt

shoulder press 3X10 50 lbs

low back extension 3X10 50 lbs

chest press 3X10 45 lbs

hip abduction 1X10 50 lbs L, R (one set on each side)

hip adduction 1X10 50 lbs L, R

hip extension 1X10 50 lbs L, R

hip flexion 1X10 50 lbs L, R

rotary torso 3X10 50 lbs

leg press 4X10 150 lbs

abdominal crunch 5X10 50 lbs

leg extension 3X10 75 lbs

It's not much yet, but it's SO much more than I started at that I am really excited!

Yeah Mel! good for you! Do some for me today, I'm feeling crappy (TOM). I know I have to get that exercise in for the WW Challenge but can't seem to motivate myself. I'm using your experience as motivation for me!
