The 10 Day Diet....Has anyone heard of this diet? A co-worker said she tried it and she lost about 21 pounds in less than 3 weeks. I know she did cuz I see her everyday. She really likes this plan and I was wondering if anyone else has heard of it. She said she purchased the book online. Their website www.tendaydiet.com is down right now so I can't get any info there.

Anyone have any input?

TIA

When it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

HI TIA I HEARD OF THE DIET BEFORE I ACTUALLY TRIED IT YOU CAN LOSE 10 POUNDS IN 3 DAYS BECAUSE YOU EAT 1000-1500 CALORIES A DAY BUT WHEN YOUR OFF THE DIET FOR THE OTHER 4 DAYS YOU EAT LIKE YOU NEVER ATE BEFORE. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT BECAUSE LIKE THE OTHER PERSON SAID IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

Since her identical message is on several boards...it qualifies as spam to me.

Yes, It's not spam. I posted to several boards because I really wanted some information on the plan. I asked her for her copy so I could see it. I could see loosing some water weight but I don't know if this gal at work has actually lost 21 pounds. She said she did and I don't want to call her a liar but she has dropped a lot of weight. And she eats regular food. Hmmm. We shall see.

Thanks for your input though.

TIA (thanks in advance)

Soft and Sweet,

I just wanted to let you know that you hurt my feelings by your post. I know you probably didn't mean to but all the same I thought these boards were to help people and give them insight and information not slam them and tell them to go away.

I'm sorry if I sounded like a commercial. Or that I posted the same message to several boards. I'm just suffering in a huge body and want some answers on how to get it smaller. I was hoping that maybe this diet would be something to try or at least research. And I thought this board would be warm and welcoming. Was I wrong?

I spoke with my coworker and she said the diet is new. She was a "tester" for it. It isn't a "loose weight quick" diet it happened to do it for her. She said that it detoxes your system and then shows you how to mix the right combination of foods for weight loss and muscle growth. She said she eats a lot of protein. I don't have a gallbladder anymore so I don't know if I could eat a lot of protein. She also said fruits, veggies and even dairy are on the daily menus provided.

She's bringing it to work today. I'll check it out then.
