Oh and let me tell you girls the other things I'm doing too. (confessions of a nut) I'm taking Metab-O-Lite ephedra free diet and energy supplement, generic multi vitamin, super omega complex (fish, flax, borage oil + CLA Omega-3-6-9 Fatty Acids). I also have started this week drinking Carb Solutions protein shake. (boy that was a tough one to get used to... *MIX IT VERY WELL AND DRINK IT VERY COLD (BUT NO ICE)*) In case anyone wants to know... it has 110 calories,2.5 fat, 3 net carbs, blah blah blah,.... and TONS OF VITAMINS/serving. Tastes like chit! ....LOL.... no really it does!
In case you are still reading... I think that the shakes are a great tool for my weight loss. I use them when I don't want to "make" anything (can you say lazy), to keep my metabolism going. Like in the morning or for an afternoon snack after exercising. Also I believe that, because of the vitamins in it, it helps me to turn off cravings for food my mouth wants to eat but my common sense says I shouldn't (Darn you Shawna and talking about Krispy Kreme!). I hardly taste the stuff anymore too. Big bonus. Plus my dd 2yrs old has learn to yell "DRINK! DRINK! DRINK!" and that really helps me drink it quick (imagine a kegger with a 2 year old). As far as the Metab-O-Lite stuff, I have no idea if it raises my metabolism. But it really does suppress my appetite. It has caffine in it for the energy booster, this is pretty much what I take it for. I don't do caffine any other time in the day, so I'm pretty sure I won't get too much. I am a SLEEPY PERSON! This helps. And pretty much the other thing that I notice that helps me is when I drink LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER, just like all the diet people tell you to do. I'm participating in the challenge between the boards and that has got me moving as far as exercise and water.(hey I want to have something to brag about, is that too vain???)
