Krispy Kreme doughnuts have only recently made their way to the PNW. I think the one closest to me is about 110 miles away, and it's the only one in Oregon. There's just two or three KKs in Washington. I've only had KK twice, and, I have to admit, I just didn't see what all the fuss was about. Tasted like regular doughnuts to me.

I feel the same way Jess. I've never been a Krispy Kreme fan myself. THey're actually too sugary for me. I'd take a Dunkin Donut over a KK any day (chocolate icing and sprinkles MmMmMmMm).

LOL. I'd never had a Dunkin' Donuts doughnut until THIS SCHOOL YEAR. Apparently, I grew up in a doughnut desert! When I get a rare craving for one, I go to the Safeway bakery.

Agreeing with you here. When they finally opened a Krispy Kreme around here,my husband just HAD to go get some, and while they were ok,I like my cakelike dounuts from Dunkin Donuts. My DH is looking forward to seeing what the nutritional value is,because we don't get dounuts from either place anymore.

I had a bite of a KK when they first opened in Canada and it was the most disgusting thing EVER. It was so sweet my head hurt. I'll never have one again.

It's interesting that you write "Why would a person on a diet even think of such a thing? Not exactly health food, now is it? There's the root of the problem, in a nutshell"

My question "Why would a person on a support board even think to post such nasty words to others? Not exactly supportive, now is it? There's the root of the problem, in a nutshell"
