AKKK...now I am being put on a diet. All she will tell me is that it will be radical and only for 2 weeks. She is going to decide after this week what I need to have taken out of my eating habits now. I am really irked with my body. I am like why won't it work right and now I am having to eat when I am not hungry again to make the silly metabolism work. GRRR

You know I am wondering if this is worth it.

Hi,

It’s totally worth it. Even though you don’t see any changes, keep at it!!! I’m sure your dietitian will help you work something out to kick-start it into gear. Remember positive thinking is a main key to success. I know when I’m feeling down on myself I don’t see as many results as I do when I’m feeling positive. Keep in mind the healthier you become the less risk you have of health issues not to mention how much better you'll feel. I know you can do it…I’m cheering for you!!!!!!!!!

Kar, it's totally worth it! Just stick with the dietician and between the two of you you'll find what works for you. I know you can do it!

I am hoping but I am so annoyed. And what is so hard is I already eat very little. Goodness half a sandwich and a small side salad should not make me full and hold me until dinner.

I just not happy about this.

Wow, I can't imagine only eating that much and having it hold me until dinner! That wouldn't even last me a half an hour lol! Have you always had such a small appetite?

Not until about 2 years ago and then the IBS went into full gear. That's when I lost about 40 pounds. And my appetite hasn't come back very well. So what can I do but eat more??? YIKES then I will feel beyond stuffed.

Now I do have the other half of the sandwich with me and I bet about 2 I will finish that half off as well because I have to eat something. My dietian wants me to eat a little bit so that my body will work.

It's like I can't eat and yet I have to eat as well. Who said food was your friend?

Most people who are trying to lose weight would think it's great not to have an appetite lol! I guess there's another side to that. It's an unusual problem, I hope you can work it out. It's definitely worth it!! Sending positive thoughts your way =)

That's the crux of it all...here i am a good 100 pounds overweight and I eat nothing compared to others my size. I don't go towards junk food all that much and when I do I never finish it. I love to eat good things before I eat bad things. I just want to throw my hands up in the air and give up. We are both in agreement that the trend diets will not be heart healthy for me or meet my first goal of changing my habits to fit a life long and enjoyable healthy eating style.

Karrie,

It'll all be worth it once you start losing the weight. It's only for 2 weeks and I'm sure she knows what is best. But if you are having second thoughts, talk to her about it okay? She'll understand.

As crazy as it sounds, you have to eat in order to raise your metabolism.
