Any suggestions for a basic step aerobics video/dvd?

I don't have any ideas about step aerobics, but I felt the same way that you do about the Firm tapes. I was intimidated by them at first, but decided that I was going to give it a try. They usually break up the session in 5 or 6 minute segments, and I just took my time and concentrated on learning one segment at a time. Now I can do the whole tape from beginning to end and I love it. I don't use the step on a lot of it yet (I just do the moves on the floor), and I still screw up the steps sometimes, but I just keep on going. That one is only a 30 minute tape. I'm now starting to work on learning a 55 minute tape. This one will take a little longer! Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

The 30 minute one that I did was called Cardio Sculpt Blaster. I think the name of the instructor was Lisa Kay. I'm not sure if it comes with the set or not, but you can probably find it on Amazon.com or Firmdirect.com.
