I know Shawna's doing the weight watchers boot camp, staying on plan 2 weeks

maybe something similar, it is mid March so we could make a challenge to last til the end of it,if we start tomorrow it will be 2 weeks =)

Depends on how tough you want to get or whether you want it to be an easy one.

You could just make up a challenge and see if anyone bites.

LOL!

I am interested in a challenge- just couldn't think of one to suggest and was waiting for someone else to so I could say Sure!

Do you have anything particular in mind?

Sounds good to me- should it be a food, water, exercise, journaling? I am still rather intrigued by the boot camp thing (God knows WHY- two Army husbands should have me NOT interested in that!) but not sure what everyone else thinks.

Any suggestions?

there is another 100 pounds or more to lose board on ivillage as well. http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-bh100plus

they've had some challenges that were interesting. "virtual bike race challenge" that's where you choose a destination, and then you get "virtual miles" by sticking to your plan, drinking water, and exercise minutes. the miles accumulate and then you can see "how far" you have gone and know when you have reached the "destination". did that make sense??? they also have a boot camp too. and their board has come up with several other challenge ideas as well.

i'm not sure about message board etiquette and if it's ok to use their ideas. But any way i'm sure their board might give yall some ideas. i liked the bike race when i participated in it. i'm also open to trying something new. i am much more motivated to stay on top of it when i'm competing or if someone else is affected if i mess up.

That sounds cool....I think it was this board, about 3 years ago I think, that had a traveling challenge too. We had a map and had pins where each of us lived. Every minute exercised counted as a mile to go from location to location.

For example- I live in IL and Serena lives in SC, and from my city to hers is 1055 miles. So, all totaled 1055 minutes of exercise would get us from my house to Serena's. Once we "arrived" at Serena's door she would be our "hostess" til the next week's tally, and she'd make a post about herself, her family, and the area she lives in. We'd plan the route so that there probably wouldn't bee a thousand miles in between everyone's houses.

If you guys are interested in this, let me know. I'll volunteer to be a co-travel agent if someone else wanted to help with that.

What she said! :) I'd be interested in a challenge as well, but don't have any ideas at the moment. It would have to be something that fits with my woe - like I couldn't do 5 servings of veggies a day because I'm on atkins.

But anyhow, I'm up for it.

well i'm obviously up for a challenge..LOL..

i think either a boot camp (stay on plan, do a min. of exercise minutes, drink a min. of water daily)or the map challenge would be cool
