I'm not following every link you post. You're obviously playing a game. If you are interested in granola recipes, just look up one you like and follow it. It's not rocket science, and you should be able to handle that much.
A game? A GAME? A GAME? .... me? heck no, I wouldn't do that, that would suck.
You brought up the miraculous granola recipe. Yes or no, is this the one you're talking about? You can't answer that, can you, because you don't know, do you.
You mean THIS one, soliel_et_luna,er I mean redhat42?
It has 10 grams of fat. Still not 0 grams. And 294 Calories. For Heaven's sake, did you even check? Oh, and that's just for a 1/2 cup serving. That does matter, you know.
BTW, you're not wasting your lunch hour doing this, are you? Your 1 and a half to 2 hour lunch hour? Maybe you're eating a Lean Cuisine? I don't know, just a hunch.
Have you tried the one by the spa chef in Arizona? Since you mention the cooking channel, I saw him on Sara's Secrets and looked up his book which has a FANTASTIC granola recipe in it. If I could recall the guy's name...it's Cary something-or-other. BTW ignore these people. Red hat...the red hats society, by chance?
Maybe you didn't see this above....Maybe *sly grin*
I LOVE granola too, but it's no wonder. A 1 cup serving contains 30 g fat (6g saturated) and 65 g carbohydrates (25 g sugar). What's not to love about that!?
Healthy? Depends on what your definition of healthy is, I suppose, but I wouldn't consider a meal which contains 46% of the DV for fat healthy. Even if you only eat 1/2 cup, that's still a lot of fat.
Oh, and let's not forget about the whopping 598 Calories. That's way more than, say, a KK doughnut?

Hi! The Black chef at Mezaluna? I tried the chicken recipe on that program, and it was great. I tried to get the library to carry his book (expensive one) and got tired of waiting so I finally bought it at Barnes and Noble. I saw the recipe you mention, but no I haven't tried it yet. He widdles down the fat to next to nothing, and I like the substitution of apple juice. Nice to meet you. I was beginning to wonder here! Yes, I'm a member of redhats and it's great fun. Are you?
Neff? That was his name, I think. I didn't remember the spa, but evening I saw him create that cappacino cake for 110 calories and 2 grams fat per slice...well, suffice it to say, I popped a tape in the vcr. I like Sara's Secrets but I seem to miss more than catch it. No, I'm not a member of redhats but I know some women who are and it does interest me.
