Hi Ladies. My name is Carol. I have been married to my DH (Paul) for 12 1/2 years. I have three children, Melissa 8 1/2, Julia 5 1/2 and Thomas 2 1/2. I have been overweight all my life, and had lost over 100 pounds after my 2nd DD was born. Unfortunately, I gained it all back and then some.
I started in late August to loose weight again, my goal was to loose 130 pounds this time. I am proud to say that I have lost 53.2 pounds so far. I am loosing my motivation though, and recently went through a binge and gained about 5-6 pounds back in two days.
I am doing a local weight loss centre programme that is basically, low carb, high protien low fat and low calorie. It works on portion control, and limits the number of servings of each food group yo have per day. You choose your foods from the "approved" list of foods. I know this programme works for me , as it is how I lost the 100 pounds the first time.
