I was curious if anyone used diet pills, like adipex etc? (prescription)

How are they working?

I'm not familiar with that one, although I HAVE tried some in the past. I've tried Ionaman (sp?) and Meridia. Both worked for me...temporarily. They did supress the appetite, but they didn't help me make better choices, so I lost any benefit by eating less food, but junkier. I wanted to try Xenical, but I can't due to a bowel condition. Anyway, I think it is like any diet aid - if you have the right motivation and mind set, they can be an effective tool, but they won't do the work for you. If they ever find one that does, I'd pay my life savings for it!

Meridia didn't so a thing for me, Xenical had horrible side effects, I've been on Fastin for 6 weeks and it is working better than I could have imagined.

Chrissy,

That's great news! I am going to start Phentermine which is basically the same as fastin. I also belong to weight watchers. Doctors dont recommend we use these drugs longer than 3 months tops. If used correctly, along with good eating habits and exercise, there will be great results.

Once we start losing, that becomes our motivation to continue with our success after we stop the meds.

Good Luck again. Keep up the Great job!
