morning ya'll....

oh i am so not happy with my body and i am about to start yelling at the doctor's and everyone. some how in 2 days i gained 9 pounds and it just deosn't want to leave. well for now it's not leaving.

i am getting sick of this too. here i am eating right and i am gaining and when i didn't eat anything, i was losing. i am just at the end of my rope and let me tell you the scale is about to be murdered.

i was at NASA/Space Center Houston on saturaday and you would think that after climbing 8 flights of stairs and not hurting until the last flight, i would be losing.

it's about to get to the point that this becomes an all consuming battle and i may not win it.

It all comes down to calories, really. Every 3,500 above what the body needs (BMR) will give you a pound.

Since you know nothing of my diet and how much I consume, I will pointedly ignore that little sentiment you chose to voice. In the furture, perhaps you should ask before you leap to a conclusion and offer any type of advice, view, or thought on said topic.

I don't know WHERE that comment of yours came from, but it's not directly related to what I said. It's not important to know your precise diet, in order to say 3,500 extra calories (for anybody) will result in weight gain. And conversely, 3,500 less calories than BMR will result in weight loss. Not difficult, not at all.

It may not be difficult, but you still managed to screw it up. The basal metabolic rate is the number of calories required to keep the body functioning while at rest. It does not take into account our activity level.
