Hi Guys !

Thanks for your notes of encourgement....

I know this will be a up hill battle.... but a labor of love for myself!

I wanted to know if anyone gives themsevles a cut off point on eating meals , do you stop at 6pm ,7, 8 ect....

Does it really help ? I'm trying this ...( i'm a big late night eater!)

and I hope it will help me in my weight loss.

Thanks !

I don't have any advice but this is a problem for me too. My FAVORITE time to eat is after DH and the boys have gone to bed. I get most satisfaction then, I think I could give up eating anything all day before I could give up eating late.

I try to stop at 8 only because I don't like going to bed on a full stomach. However, if my schedule allows me I would rather and I stick to eating about 6:30 and I won't eat past that.

I have noticed that if I am up around midnight, I am slightly hungry at that time.

Hi,

I will get to the rest of the positive thoughts for you!

I stop eating at around 7pm and if I get really hungry I will have a piece of fruit such as an orange, and drink water and it will pass.

Or put a picture of someone in a bikini on the fridge and that might help you from not opening it!

I dont make a cut off point in the evenings, I just try to plan in a healthier snack and stay away from the sweets.

I count calories, so if I have not eaten too much in one day, I go ahead and have a small snack at night: an apple, a handful of almonds, or an English muffin. But when I've already eaten more than I should, I brush my teeth and just go to bed! I don't wake up starving in the morning.

Would it help any if you ate only your three regularly scheduled meals, at the usual times for you? That's all I do.

It depends what time you go to bed. I am down at around midnight or 1 so I can eat a little later, but as a rule of thumb I try not to eat after dinner or 8pm. sharla
