Hi everyone,
I am really excited to join this board. This week I have comitted myself to my diet(I hate that word) and working out. I have been so good, I am so proud of myself. You guys seem so nice and motivated I can't wait to talk with you all. I just have one question what is this boot camp I've been reading about? It sounds cool but what do you do. I also like the new challenge with whole miles thing is great to, when will it start and who do we report our minutes(miles) to? One more thing what does it mean when people put the three weights(i guess their weights) under their names( I know dumb ?)
Bye
Tasha

Welcome Tasha!
Boot camp is til Apr.5..there's a thread called Boot camp day 1 state plan, that's where you state 3 things that go with your plan and that you'll stay on track with for boot camp. It's a way to help keep on track. For me i am staying on track by eating between 1250-1475 calories,75 oz. water, exercise 275 min. wk. I gave myself 3 'badges' and if i don't make a part of my plan in a day i loose a badge.
The next challenge as you stated is the exercise minutes=miles..you go to post about it and write your city/state and Mel will add you to the map and she's making the route we're going to. Each day there'll probally be a post to put your exercise min. I'm not sure it's the first time i've heard of this challenge.
Feel welcome to join any challenge =)
The weights is start weight/current weight/goal weight
