Horrid food weekend

Now, on to the food part.
I have been on Atkins since Jan 5. I have been doing really well, and losing, and being a good girl, with the exception of Valentine's Day when I carbfested with Rob at Outback.
I ate more food on Saturday than I had on any 4 days of last week COMBINED. Carbs, cals, fat, etc. I mean, a LOT of food. Then yesterday, I ate admittedly MUCH LESS than Saturday, but I still ate non-carb friendly rice and gravy. Ugh. I am SO disgusted with myself, and probably most disgusting of all is that the food tasted GOOD to me, and all the while I KNEW I was just poisoning myself. ARGH!
I did force myself to do an hour of dance workout with my game, and went for a walk last night. But I am still just incredibly disappointed with myself.
:-(

One little lesson my dietian has taught me is that food should be enjoyed and there is no room for guilt.
Enjoy the little vacation and get back on the wagon. No worries that you enjoyed yourself.
(((HUGS))) I know you had a bad weekend eating wise, but try not to beat yourself up over it too much. Try to chalk it up to a learning experience. Look forward to what you can do to improve going forward. It sounds like you've already taken some steps toward that by getting in some extra exercise. Other than that, it sounds like you had a good weekend! I'm glad to hear you had a good time, anyways. Maybe now you've gotten that all out of your system and can get back on track. The important thing is to not keep slipping to the point of no return. Remember, we're here for you if you need to vent!

Melody, we all have slip ups.
Do you know how a junkie who's been clean for a while and is doing great, is tempted and gives in for "one" try. Things spiral down from there. I am petrified of this- it's happened a million times in my dieting efforts before. One slip up undoes EVERYTHING. I'm trying SO hard not to let this happen. Feeling stupid and glum today. Grrrrr.

I just sprayed windex on all of the food in the snack cupboard and tossed it out. The kids will be having applesauce for snack the rest of the week.
