Hi everyone!! How are you all doing today? I am extremely TIRED!! I spent the weekend with my boyfriend, and yesterday afternoon we went to see his mom in Illinois(he lives in KY). Well, we found out that she is having 2 toes amputated, and she still works at a factory. b/c no one will support her, and she is going to move in with us when we move to Indiana in Sept-Oct. She has really bad diabetes...and he was really upset last night on the way home...=(

But I drank some beer and ate SO bad! I ate a bunch of Mexican food, (it's free at my brother in law's restaurant after all), and we went and played pool last night, and I SOMEHOW tore a chunk of skin off my knuckle....OUCH!! But I got up yesterday at 8 a.m., took my nephew to the park, then went and got Roger and it's 1 1/2 hours to his mom's house, hung out til 2:30 a.m., got home(his place) this morning at about 4, fell asleep about 5, and got up at 8:30...then I slept at my sisters house for like, 1 1/2 hours, and then I had to drive 2 hours home and I have to work for 9 hours(4p-1a) today....=( I AM TIRED!!

BUT...ALTEAST I am on Spring Break!!

So, how is everyone else's Monday going???!!!

Hi Sara,

It sounds like your weekend was busy. I got tired just reading about it LOL! I'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend's mother. Diabetes is a tough disease. I hope that having her toes amputated won't be too hard on her. I'll be sending positive thoughts :)

Hi Sara! (and everyone else, too!!!)

My monday was okay. I had a student yell at me, and another tell me how much she wanted to hit me. Lovely.

Other than that things are good. My spring break is NEXT week, and it can't come soon enough. I am just ready for a break. As is my BF. We are driving to new orleans to stay with his family and relax. We had planned on leaving next monday bright and early, but we are both so anxious to get out of town, that we bumped it up to sunday-as-soon-as-he-gets-off-from-work. :) I CAN'T WAIT. I am looking forward to the vacation and relaxing, but also to meeting his family, as it will be the first time. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, neice, etc... What a week it will be!!

Countdown with me: 4 school days/ 6 real days till departure! WOOHOO!

Wow Tina, that is a really big deal and step. I am glad everything is working out with y'all so well. I remember meeting Roger's family last year. Wow..I was very high maintenance back then. I had like, perfectly done short hair, tons of make-up, and these long red acrylic(sp?) nails...when we got there on Sunday, my hair is past my shoulders now and i just put stuff in it and let it dry straight, my nails are natural, short, and nude, and I do not wear much make-up anymore..lol, his mom was like "Where is Sara?" I am a lot more natural now...

But that sucks about your students. But you live in Atlanta, you can only expect that from a bigger town's school. Them kids are rough, I always grew up in small towns in the South where everyone knows eveyone else so..

Good luck with the family in N'awlins!!!
