I've been mostly absent in the last week due to Spring Break, but I'm back in school now and wanted to say hello. I had a great week off--ate yummy food, didn't exercise, didn't do a lot of homework, saw all my friends, and slept! But now I have to get back in the swing of things--homework, eating right, and exercising!

On another note, I'm beyond irritated right now. Over the break I stopped in at my optometrist, who wrote me a prescription for some allergy eye drops. Several years ago this doctor noticed that, despite using the eyedrops, my eyes were still red, so he upped the dosage on the drops to two drops in each eye twice daily. Cured the redness, so that's the dosage I've been using since. Well, I took the prescription to the health center pharmacy today, and the pharmacist was not happy with the dosage and she was not happy with my decision to wear contact lenses during allergy season (you just can't stop wearing rigid gas permeable contact lenses for three months and switch back easily), and blah blah blah. I just left shaking my head...I worked in a pharmacy for five years, and NO ONE--not the five pharmacists who have filled this prescription for me in the past, nor the two docs who have prescribed it--have EVER given me the advice she did today. GRR. I know she's just doing her job, but sheesh...I think my optometrist knows what he's doing!

Okay, enough complaining. Hope y'all are doing well!

Glad to hear you had a great Spring Break. Everyone needs one of those at least once a year. I think I'd like to spend a week going yard-saleing (spelling?) at the World's biggest yard sale. It's the one that's always advertised in Southern Living's magazine. It's like a four-state yardsale/flea market...fun times! About the lady at the health department, there's a sourpuss around just about every corner, isn't there? Just smile and thank her for filling the prescription and get out the door before she can start in on you. Afterall, although student health may be her business, giving unsolicited advice is not. :)
