2. How do you celebrate Easter now?
3. Have you thought of starting a new Easter tradition? if so what

2. How do you celebrate Easter now? Last few years i hide eggs and basket at home and dd finds it then we go to my mom's and she does the same thing and we eat there. Also my mom and dd will make chocholate candies a few days ahead of time. guess my dad's side is starting the egg hunt thing again this year so will be going to that this weekend.
3. Have you thought of starting a new Easter tradition? if so what..well my gma's on dad and mom's side died a few years ago and when they did the egg hunts did. I would like to plan a egg hunt+dinner for my mom's side maybe next year my gpa had surgery last week and isn't up to it this year and couldn't do it without him =)
Hope everyone has a great Easter!
We always got pretty new clothes, went to sunrise service with my Gram at the Catholic church, went to service at Grandpa's Baptist church, then my uncles hid eggs and my brother and cousins and I looked for them. We always had a HUGE dinner, as well. Ham, green bean casserole, sourdough biscuits, cheese and veggie trays, corn, mashed potatoes, yams, fried okra, greens, stuffing, cheesecake, berry pies, and apple pie. It was a HUGE deal. My grandfather also always gave us 5 dollars in change hidden in plastic eggs. He made sure we always got a new kite at Easter as well.
2. How do you celebrate Easter now?
The day before Easter all of Rob's relatives have dinner at the Chinese restaurant together. Then, we make Easter Story Cookies with the kids, cousins, friends etc. Then color eggs, watch the kids' Easter Angel movie, then the kids go to bed. In the morning we have church, then we get home and eat the Easter Story Cookies, and the kids find their Easter Baskets, then we have an egg hunt with cousins etc. The kids get change in plastic eggs, and kites that we go fly as well. Easter night I cook a larger than normal meal, but not nearly as much as my family used to have. I make a ham, potatoes, corn, gravy, biscuits, and a cheese and veggie tray. For dessert I make cheesecake. This year my children are being Baptised on Easter so they will get 2 extra gifts as well. I bought them each a Bible, and a silver cross necklace.
3. Have you thought of starting a new Easter tradition? if so what
Easter Story Cookies is our tradition. I am always looking at new possibilities, though.
**By dying eggs, participating in egg hunts, and occassionally attending church.
2. How do you celebrate Easter now?
**I don't. I am not particularly Christian at the moment.
3. Have you thought of starting a new Easter tradition?
**No. I may reconsider when I have children, but that is quite a ways off still.
**Rethinking my answer to #3... may have some totally un-religious tradition with my BF... hehehehe...

2. Pretty much the same. The girls will dye eggs and then hunt real eggs left by the bunny. We will go to church on Palm SUnday and then on Easter. We will also go to a church easter egg hunt on Saturday. They will get a few small gifts, but not much.
3. Don't laugh but I think we may have started a tradition of giving the girls new umbrellas on Easter. This year we got some really cute ones from he disney store. I have always wanted to attend the Sunrise Service, but never have.
