Urgh, what a week.

Last week I had to go to Texas and away from my gym and my carefully selected grocery list, and my diet went all to hell. I only worked out twice the entire week, and by the time I came back I had no good groceries left and didn't go shopping until last night.

To top it all off I've been extremely girlsick since I got back on Sunday and I feel just awful, cramps and headache and lethargy and ugh, so I really don't feel like going to work out tonight. I finally restarted my diet today, but I just don't know if I can make it to the gym.

But if I don't, I'm concerned that I might not hop to it once I'm better. Meh. Help!

Sol, if you need to take a few days rest due to AF, then by all means, take that break,

welcome back, almost missed your creeping in..you've been doing GREAT a few days aren't that bad just dust yourself off and start back up when your ready. If you start to feel discouraged just look at how much you've done and lost so far =)

I completely understand the girl sick thing. My Aunt Flo came to visit me for the first time in 6 or so months (literally). I have never been so achy, cramped and exhausted with a cycle than this time. I'm just starting out, so this is VERY frustrating. I'm just trying not to derail eating somewhat sensibly (or at least a little less than usual). Keep us posted on how you're doing. As Sarah from this board reminded me, one slip up (or even a weeks' worth) isn't the end of the world. Since your plan is a lifelong one, it's hardly a blip on the Radar. Good luck!
