Does anyone else get shakey?

I don't eat breakfast....I know I should, but I get up at 10am and we eat lunch at 11am everyday because that is my fiance's lunch hour. I am usually shakey in the morning and get really weak and start to get really bad headaches and neck aches. When I eat lunch it will go away as long as it didn't get really bad. About an hour or so later I get the same way and whenever I eat something to help, I am not hungry and I am forcing food that I don't want. I guess whatever I eat must be the wrong food, but then I don't know what would be right. I get that way all day and if I wait too long, then I get a really bad migraine, my neck hurts all the way up and into my temples, i feel sick to my stomach and even if I eat, it won't go away, the only option is to sleep. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I have always been this way, but it wasn't an everyday thing, just once in a while when I would be in school or something and didn't have the option to eat anything until it was time. I had tests done before and everything came back negative. Since I had my son a year and a half ago, it has been every single day that I feel this way. If anyone has had this, how do you deal with it and do you have any suggestions as to what to eat?

I get shaky when I let myself get too hungry, from low blood sugar. This would explain why you are shaky in the morning, because you haven't eaten all night. Eating breakfast, even if it's something small, should help. Try a protein bar or yogurt.

I went to see a nutritionist and she advised me to always have some protein with every meal and snack. Then I started cutting back on carbs and this has really helped.

Eating a lot of sugar (carbs) can cause headaches, and so can caffeine. You mentioned you had tests done, did they test for hypogloxemia (sp?) Do you take birth control pills? They gave me some killer migraines. I feel for you, they are the worst. I hope you can figure out what's causing this. Good luck!- Vera

I have gotten shakey from time to time if I didnt eat enough or if I hadnt eaten in a while, but not on a regular basis like you.

Yes I was checked for hypogloxemia, diebetes and anemeia (excuse my spelling). Everything was negative. Thank you for you suggestions. What would be a protein bar that you would suggest....to be honest I don't even know what one is! lol, pretty sad.

I really like luna bars. They have a lemon one that is so yummy. You can find them in the weight loss or vitamin section at the grocery store. Good luck!

That doesn't sound good. Maybe it's time to see a doctor? Hope it gets better for you.
