It's my first day here, and I'm really excited because you all seem so nice. I started losing weight about 8 months ago, and I've lost 44 lbs. I would like to lose at least 60 more. It's been kind of slow going, but my biggest concern is keeping the weight off this time. I have lost hundreds of pounds over and over again, so I'm taking it slow this time and trying to adapt to better habits gradually.

I think my biggest obstacle is emotional overeating and trying not to become discouraged, so that's why I am here. I hope in return I can offer lots of support also. Anyway, it's great to find this board and get to know you all.

Hi and welcome Vera. Congrats on the 44 pounds that is wonderful. I like youam also an emotional eater. I think the thing is to have something in place to replace the food with, but when I am upset I don't think of it. ANyway enough of that welcome. I hope you find lots of support. sharla
