I know what you mean about these New England winters, Amy! I've lived in MA almost all my life, and when I didn't live here, I lived in NH for a short while. These winters are so long! But I really do love the area, and the rest of the year is usually really nice here, so no plans to move yet. I hope that if you do decide to move to AZ that you'll like it there. I've been there a couple of times and it's beautiful out there. I think the summers would be a little hot for me, though. But at least there's no humidity there. Enjoy your trip :)

Oh crap ! That is rotten luck. But, I guarantee you will not regert ordering the book. I found it in the Psychology/Women's Studies/Eating Disorders section in Border's. It won't be with diets or health. It has a hot pink binding and a catroon woman on the front.

Have an awesome time in Biloxi !!! Hope you have great weather !

When you get back, can you put the spinning Dexter's back by your signature ? I love them !

Hi Linda ! I grew up in Natick and moved up here to NH in '95. I live WAY up in the White Mountain (read: hideous weather) Region. When I went to AZ last year, I went in JULY. J-U-L-Y. It was 118 degrees when I stepped out of Sky Harbour Airport.

I walked out of the air conditioning and SCREAMED like a three year old that had been stung by a wasp. I then succumbed and wilted on top of my suitcase on the curb and waited for my hotel shuttle. It only took me the day to adjust and I hiked seven miles the next day. I could never have done that in NH with the humidity.

Where in MA were you living, BTW ?

Hey Amy..I am responding to the post from yesterday? I think...you were asking who our trollie pollie is..and I was just reading this thread and thats just too dang funny cause Pat made it is the one I was referring to . We cant prove it as "it" uses several different names but it posts almost exact word for word by different names..then comes back and posts to itself...every once in awhile it will get sloppy and post back to the same exact name and oops...CAUGHT!! lol..we love it though(ok love is a little extreme)..It keeps us laughing and reminds us to be better people than "it" has obviously become . I would much rather be fat and miserable and a decent human being than thin like "it" supposedly is and be as nasty as she/he..ughhh

I love the White Mtns! But then again, I don't have to endure the winters up there. My DH and I go up there a lot in the summer. I grew up in Tewksbury, but now I live in the north shore area. For a while, I lived in Derry, NH. Two of my brothers still live there.

I figured as much.. Ambrosia_pine, icey_princess, snow_balls, pat_made it all have the same word usage and a thousand other little giveaways.

People who post like this are very deeply angry, hurt, ashamed and have been disappointed by life too many times. When one uses 'truth' and 'facts' the way this poster does, it's to hide behind them and use it as a shield to prevent others from seeing the real person. I am going to guess that the way this person rigidly sticks to these ideals, is someone NOT in control of their life and deeply wishes THEY could be this way, this perfect, this controlled, very...together, strong and no weak spots.

And BTW, ANYONE who would actually believe that a plate of fudge has NO power over you OBVIOUSLY hasn't met the right fudge. DUH.(eye roll)
