YOU *said*, in your first post here, "Its almost like Jesus or religion to me lol You know how christians are supposed to spread the word of God." So no, I didn't put words into your mouth. What I said is that I disagree with *that* approach. As for this comment you *said* to me, in this post, "And Im sure you wouldnt do that because you lack little empathy for anyone who is overweight," you're way out of line.
Obesity, according to news reports, now surpasses smoking as the number one cause of preventable death in America. If the normal people look with disdain at the obese, could it be...em, yes....that it's because the obese are a death statistic waiting to happen?! Obesity costs Americans who are normal weight thousands of dollars a year more. In health insurance premiums, for example. And in other ways. So your being fat, or anyone's being fat, is a drain on the American economy. And for that reason, my dear, obesity is everyone's business......even those individuals who are normal weight.
It's the height of absurdity to claim that it's because ordinary, normal weight people look at fat people and are afraid of getting fat. It doesn't happen by osmosis, or haven't you heard.
And the rest, about taking it on as your private religion to skinny down the world. Well, it happens one person at a time. And since you posted a link I took the time to visit it. First finish your own weight loss, and reach your own goal, and then think about saving the world. You've done a good job, from the pictures you post, but from the weights you list you are still obese yourself. So start with things closer to home, with the image in your mirror, and other people will thin down when they want to. Good luck.
It's okay Hippolytes; you might
