Howdy Doody ya'll...

Well, I am down another pound this morning. Yesterday I did rather well in the eating area. I walked about 4 flights of stairs twice and I walked a mile as well.

This morning, I have already set the alarm for 10:30 to go walk the stairs again. Only problem is I didn't get to bring my breakfast so I am relying on other things and I am hungry as well. HMMM, big challenge about to happen.

Congrats on the pound loss! I guess the stairs and walking are paying off :)

hate the stairs hate it!!!!

Today i tried to take them a bit faster...can your legs hurt you in protest?

Oh, but think of the benefits! Just don't overdo it. I would hate to have you injure yourself and then not be able to do them at all!

my knees already hurt me...but that was a given. I hurt them when I was playing football with the neighborhood guys in my teens.

Only doing stairs between 2 floors which is about 4 flights. I am going to do them until I am able to climb them without feeling like I have run a marathon then I will increase the floor amount.

not sure if i like the dressing but it's not bad.

with me it doesn't satisfy me as well as others. i am wanting something sweet now.

KNEES HURT!!!

Both are now starting to hurt going down and up.

One thing I noticed is that it was a bit harder this afternoon to climb those 4 flights. I am not sure if it is because my knees are hurting and it was a pretty decent amount of pain or my body is starting to rebel against it?

Knees hurt because when I was a kid into my teens I would always fall on my knees. One knee is completely blown because I was playing football with the guys and my family. Second one is blown because I fell on it and twisted it at the same time. Yeah fluffy gal was very active in my youth.

Ooooh, stairs...careful ! Give yourself every other day off to let the muscles recuperate. During excersize, muscle fibers break down, and during the non-excersize time that follows, they rebuild themselves stronger than before. Just don't overdo it or you will be very sore and have some mild inflamation in the muscle. Real pain is nature's way of saying Cut it Out ! Try icing your knees for 20 minutes following workouts to see if that helps, and maybe take an anti-inflammatory - whatever you prefer.

I hate going DOWN stairs - there is something about the extention and flexion of the quad muscle that just does not work for me while stepping and reaching down, esp if I'm getting fatigued. It sucks !
