Well, ya'll I need skirts. I can't seem to find the ones I am looking for. Do ya'll know who has the cotton knee length fun and flirty spring skirts? I have a few from Chadwick's coming.

Karaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-y!!!

If you have $$ to blow, try Lane Bryant, also JCPenney.

I don't like Lane Bryant anymore. They are way too trendy and their fit doesn't fit my curves. Now Penny's is one I haven't thought of. I am also heading to Sears since they are carrying Lands End now.

I saw a few on Torrid's site that are rather cute, modern and yet classical.

I agree with everyone's suggestions......(I still like Lane Bryant although I have a hard time finding jeans there for some reason......I'm like in between their sizes) anyway..........I was going to suggest www.alight.com too- very cute stuff in a huge range of prices.

Isn't Torrid GREAT ? And I'm addicted to land's End. LB has gotten a bit too trendy, I liked them more about six years ago...I do like the strtch jeans and bras, sometimes they have great stuff on sale, but I was there a few days ago and they had some skirts, but all weird stripes and asymetrical hemlines....I barely fit in the clothes there anymore because I am getting to the small end of the range of a 14 (never thought I'd see THAT number again!)so i don't buy much there anymore.

I still have this 'fat girl' mentality and have a mental image of myself still at 265 pounds. There are alot of clothes out there it hasn't occurred to me to try because I still think, 'ugh, that would look horrible on me'. I am getting out of that slowly, and I remember about a year ago, I hit a major personal milestone - I KNEW I was losing weight when I finally fit into something from Victoria's Secret - bikini underwear.

Still a work in progress !

http://www.avenue.com (check under "bottoms" to find skirts)

http://www.zaftique.com (and you can get a free measuring tape from here...go to the size chart section for info...it's a "plus size" tape so it's nice!)

http://www.torrid.com

http://www.sizeappeal.com (this is more trendy stuff but they have a few cute things now and then)

Thanks ya'll. A lot of the sites I know off and I actually shop there. Talbots is a great one. By the way ya'll need to check out jjill.com.

I am eager to go through the sites that ya'll have just introduced me to.

size appeal is rather interesting. I could so get in trouble with that one. I need to pass on two more sites I ran across to ya'll.

oen is igigi. com and the other is kiyonna.com

these 2 are great for very modern and fashionable clothes. a bit pricey but I like them. especially kiyonna
