But I did start to have a faster heart rate....hmmm heels and climbing might be what I need.
I am hoping that in another week I can climb 4 flights of stairs without stopping to catch my breath or resting because my knees hurt.
It was nice to feel my muscles burn on the way down and on the way up. Unfortunately tonight won't be a night that I can exercise. BUMMER!! But there are so many little things you can do when you go to the bathroom at work. My aunt who is a dancer taught me one of the moves in ballet that help with your arms is great for toning and you can do it anywhere since it is very low impact but has a great burn.
Think about it....after you finish your forth glass of water and start going on the hour you can take a few minutes and do a rep of 8 and get some movement in.

You can also try swimming, and doing flutter kicks - it's no impact, but the water provides resistance. Walking is one of the best things too, but not running.
Pay attention to pain. If it hurts, stop. that's the body's way of saying, "Yoo-hoo, JACKASS! If you don't stop I'll never let you forget it !"
Amy, with big honkin' hugs. ;)
Believe me I do stop when it gets really bad except if I am dancing. One reason why I rest for a bit when I do go up stairs. I can tell though that it is working since my thigh muscles have that nice sore feeling.
I need to try the ball though. Sounds like something else I can do.
