OT- Prayers needed

This afternoon Rob received a call from his National Guard Unit. He's officially on alert. He's been told to get all of his gear and paperwork together. Will, POA, ATM Card etc. His physical was scheduled for August and now that has been pushed up to this weekend. This was supposed to be a normal weekend, but now he's been told to bring an overnight bag and to be prepared to stay. This "feels" entirely different from when he was activated as security after 9/11. I would appreciate a prayer for his safety if you have a chance.

Love,

Mel

You have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO idea how many re-incarnates there are of this bozo. Do you need more than one computer if you have multiple personalities ? 'Sybil' has NOTHING on this one.... On an Obesity debate this person was Pat_made_it and had the same language usage, punctuation style, spelling errors...it's almost kind of funny. Let's hope this person has ZERO contact with children who are easily impressionable, and maybe there is some hope for the future...

Thanks, Forte. Last night on national news I saw that many active military over there who were scheduled to be home after serving 12 months now, have been re-extended for three more months and it's possible it will end up being even longer. Certainly it's disheartening when this happens. Hopefully one person who has served that long will be coming home once smoky joe arrives in Bagdad. I'll light a candle for my sister today, as she's far from alone in having served our country proudly in Iraq for more than a year and continuing. And, certainly, I'll say a prayer that his national guard unit can do their job and take an active platoon's place shortly. The sooner the better I'd say.

Thanks for your kind words, for my sister and everyone who has actually done their job for America over there.

I was SO tempted to respond to this, but you're right. That's what IT wants us to do, so I will just ignore the ignorant comments. Thanks for the reminder.

The more the merrier- of course, the coward has edited it's original post which advocated "smoking a smokey joe". But that's okay, because I'd already copied them down and reported them in their original wording and format for posterity's sake.

Thanks Jess. I got the original wording on both posts and reported them as well.

I wonder if asstri's selective illiteracy and deafness filtered through that there are National Guard soldiers in Iraq who have been there for a year who are ALSO being extended?

Yeah, and that's the cleaned-up version of the original. Is there a certain number of violations of TOS that a person gets before they are booted, or is it just the severity of the violation?
