How did you pick the diet you are on? Why is it really appropriate for you? What is good about it and what is bad about it? (I know we've touched on this a bit, in terms of what KIND of diet we are on, and if we've ever changed programs, but I'm interested in hearing the pros and cons of several different diets. Besides...someone *ahem* recently suggested that we have more "diet related" talk :-)

I just read your memorial to your mother, also. What a beautiful tribute! I'm sorry that you lost her. I know what that's like. I lost my mother when I was 11.

Mine used to be exactly like hers, but it darkened quite a bit by the time I started school. Unlike you, I always badly WANTED really flaming red hair! I couldn't understand Anne of Green Gables hating hers AT ALL. And then to add insult to injury, I have a much younger cousin who got that really awesome, deep shade of auburn that all the hair dyes are TRYING to create, and she keeps dying it black. *sigh* - I guess the grass is always greener...or redder....

I've never dyed my hair either. It's brunette with red highlights. I guess I just can't picture myself with any other hair color.

The color it has decided to come in us now is this ruby red color and it's coming in curly!!! I have this straight hair but now it's getting wavy. Well, as long as it stays red. But if everything works out and God opens the doors...i won't have red headed babies. sniff sniff

If you have naturally red hair, why wouldn't you have red headed babies?

One because it is a recessive gene and I would have to have a a guy who had the same genes and two...jeff is from taiwan so that would be an improbablity.

Improbable, but not impossible. My girlfriend, who is red headed and green eyed (Irish descent), married a man who was of Oriental descent who has black hair and dark eyes (not sure whether Chinese, Japanese, etc). They have two daughters, one has her red hair with his dark eyes, and the other has black hair with her green eyes. It is really neat looking at their family picture, since you can see a little bit of both parents in each of the girls.

Genes are a funny thing--you never know what's going to turn up.
