Bzzzt. Most entertaining.

2. There are many different factors in gaining weight. Anything from medical conditions, food as comfort, to just plain eating more than necessary........what do you think is the biggest reason you are/were overweight?

emotional overeating, thyroid disease and PCOS.

3. Each of these is about to crawl on you (one at a time, LOL). On a scale of one to ten - one means you don't mind at all; ten means you are so freaked out you might need a padded cell - how disturbed are you?

Sorry- when it comes to creepy crawlies I can't be limited to a 10-scale. Needs to be 85.

4. What's the biggest compliment you've ever received?

My Great Aunt Virginia once told me I was just like my Grandpa. It's stuck with me and made things easier for me in many ways.

5. Please state your current stats. Have you set a date to be at goal by? What's the date? Are you aiming for it full force, or giving yourself some wiggle room?

Not stating stats.

I want to lose 100 lbs by my bday. December 17. I have been slacking and overeating and going crazy for too long, and am reeling myself back in slowly right now.

1. My favorite topic of conversation has been weddings! More specifically, getting to hear my friend's plans for her wedding. My least favorite topic has been the over-the-top, haughty, "I'm so much better than you mere mortal" posts courtesy of our resident troll. Get. A. Life.

2. I'm a picky eater, and eating high calorie foods was too easy--I like the way they taste, and they're often convenient. NOT eating them has taken some effort. It all comes down to the fact that I LOVE food, but I have to balance that against my desire to be a healthy weight.

3. What on earth is an earwig??? I'd be the least freaked out by the baby mouse, centipede, and moth. The cockroach (I don't think we get them out here--I've never seen one before) and the spider would freak me out the most.

4. No "big" compliments, but people often tell me I have a beautiful smile, and it never gets old. ;-)

5. 240ish/194/130. I had planned on easing into my goal slowly, which was probably a mistake, since I haven't lost as much weight as I'd like. I'm still EXTREMELY happy with my progress, but I've set a goal of losing 50 pounds by January 15. That's the day of my friend's wedding, and I'd like to be within 15 pounds of goal by then. I don't think trying to lose 60 pounds is really reasonable.

Anything that’s fun or funny,,,,, laughter is the best medicine it gets your mind off the serious stuff……..

Been “fluffy” every since I was a kid but when I first got pregnant I gained like 65 pounds so after birth that brought me up to a little over 200 pounds then when I had my ds I gained another 60 my problem is eating and not eating the right stuff…. that’s why im so worried about this baby I cant let myself be over 300 pounds when its born…

F. Earwigs- omg I had one go in my ear when I went on vacation to Oregon when I was a kid 15!!!

You’re the best mom ever!!!! I think Nate got something really good that day lol

My DH and I have been talking about our vacation to Hawaii that we're going on next month. I'd have to say that's my favorite topic right now!

A lifetime of bad habits.

If you had said a wasp, I think I would have put a 20! I figured if anyone ever wanted to torture me, all they would have to do is put me in a room with a bunch of wasps. Even if they don't sting me, just having them there is enough freak me out!

My DH once told me that he has more confidence in himself because of me.

246/226/150ish. I hope to be at goal sometime early next year. I'm giving myself some wiggle room. I've been overweight most of my life, and I want to do this right!

Getting another job has been my main focus lately, and I have an interview on Monday at a radio station, so I am excited about that

***I think it's a combination of low self esteem/food as comfort and not eating enough. My metabolism was WAAAAY slow from not eating enough and then when I did eat I would overeat so it was just a vicious cycle.

A. Moth- as long as it's not in my hair...I'd say 3

B. Cockroach- yuck...8 or 9

C. Spider- I'm okay with spiders...they just tickle...1

D. Baby mouse- wild or a pet? either way I think probably 2-3

E. Centipede- uh...creepy crawly...but not the worst...6

F. Earwigs- *shudder* 1,000,000 lol they creep me out.

***hmmmmmm....I think I'd have to say that the compliment that has made the biggest difference in my self esteem was from my BIL recently. It's weird...he said (of my weight loss so far) that he sees the old me coming back and that my sister and I were hotties in high school and lots of guys thought that. I don't know if was trying to make us feel good or if it's true but just hearing that erased a lot of self doubt for some reason. I said, "So I was *too hot* to get a date...THAT explains EVERYTHING!!!" rofl. I always thought there was something wrong with me because it seemed like the boys just wanted to be my friend instead of anything more....maybe I shouldn't have beat them at football so much...rofl. I don't know if that was really the *biggest* compliment I've ever recieved but it did wonders for me. :o)

***276/203/135. I'm hoping to be at goal by Oct 31 or so but it's not firm...whenever I get there, I get there. I might even stop before then at a higher weight...you never know!

Definitely would be DH and I discussing where we want to go on our anniversary this year.

The biggest reason? Me eating lots of stuff that helped put the weight on, like sugar, soda, chocolate, bread, etc and not having enough exercise to burn off what I was eating. Of course, a slow thyroid doesn't help, along with some of the meds I'm on, but I've seen people who have slow thyroids who aren't overweight, so I can't count that one too highly, lol!

As of Wednesday, 241/230/130. I haven't set a date, since that would be too depressing, lol! I was only losing 1 to 2 pounds a month through watching what I was eating the last six months, which would take me, well, you do the math! But my docs started me on a low carb regimen, so we shall see if that makes a difference in the rate of loss. Keeping my fingers crossed!

What's the biggest compliment you've ever received?____that i'm a great mom which is great to hear..when it comes to getting complimented on looks i get embarrassed, in Aug. last year at work a guy had told a friend of mine that he couldn't stop looking at me because i was so beautiful and he loved my eyes and that he would love to go out with me but that i was too good for him..that was nice compliment and each time i looked his way he'd be looking at me..we did end up seeing each other for a few months

2. I was very unhappy and dissatisfied with my personal relationships with men and had been dating people who were emotionally abusive.

3. A:1, B:3, C:8, D:-10 (I love mice!), E:8, F: 11 (padded room sedated with Valium or maybe straight to Thorazine)

4. That I should have been a doctor.

5. 166.5 pounds, 5'7. I had a goal of 160 (HS grad weight) but it's looking like I'm going to blow right past it. I'm thinking maybe 145 to 150, but will be thrilled with original of 160 anyway. Anything less can be considered wiggle room. If I actually get to 135 I'm going to eat my dietician. I'm not kidding. I'll make an appointment, take some utensils and BBQ sauce and pounce on her.

Ugh!My son and his grounding from the computer for a month!I haven't given in and this has been the LONGEST month of:"Can I pleeeeeease play for just a minute?"...The 20th it will be all over though.He gets to play on it again.

230,no date to which I want to be at goal by and I am giving it some wiggle room.I think I am eating alot healthier then I have in the past,and I am exercising...the weight will come off eventually and I am going to enjoy life and be happy.~looks around at the crabby one who never splurges and is hateful towards everyone who is enjoying life....you know who you are...uh huh ;)~
