weight in numbers? When i got my license they asked how much i weighed, i said 199..LMAO..i figure i'll get there. It's just so embarrasing to say anything over 199.

Noone knows how much i really weight, well except you guys =) i can talk about losing weight but not the details i just feel so crappy i've let myself get to where i need to lose this much.and i find it embarrasing to put weight on machines while working out as if anyone is paying attention ..lol

anyhow i know a few people talk about how confortable they are with their bodies and all the stuff so was just curious if that goes to talking about their weight, telling people their weight. so thought i'd see peoples comments

Well, from reading the other posts in this thread it looks like I am in the minority on this one. I have never had a problem with admitting my weight to people. Luckily for me I carry my weight very well and look like I weigh alot less than I actually do. Anytime I have ever told anyone my weight, the response I always get is NO WAY you weigh that much! Even at the Doctors office, they always think my weight is much lower than it actually is.

Hmmm... Let me think here. To address your first question/ comment, NO ONE knows how much I weigh (except you all). I got my Georgia DL in October of last year, and 230 was as close as I could get to my real weight (closer to 260 at the time and I gained more before I started losing)... for right now, my next goal is to be at the weight on my DL!!! LOL I have about 13 pounds to go. I'll let you know when I get there! :)

As far as talking about my weight loss, that is one of the things that keeps me going. My best friend lives in Florida, and she recently lost about 40 pounds on WW. Every time we talk (once every week or two) I congratulate her on her maintenance and discuss my progress. However, she has no idea how much I weigh nor that I have almost 3 times as much (as she lost) to lose to get to her current weight of 130. I talk to a few girls at work about my progress, but never mention my weight, neither current nor goal.

Perhaps as I get closer to goal it will come easier, but for now, I will do what I can. :)

Ya know, I was thinking about this earlier, and I think I've figured out my problem with it.

You know, when I first started losing weight I was scared and embarassed to post my stats or talk about my weight with RL family or friends.
