Do you ever have that moment..

when you see yourself on video or in a picture and you are in utter disbelief? Like, who is that woman? I saw some video taken on Easter. I was in most of it because I was holding my (absolutely adorable) 3 1/2 month old son. Three thoughts:
1. Oh my god, I can't believe I'm really that fat.
2. I need to never wear floral pajamas again.
3. I seriously need some highlights.

Ugh. Good weight loss motivation I suppose.

Things I've learned from my photographs:
1. Never be photgraphed chewing food or eating. You will be either chewing on the down
swing, or about to shovel something into your face, like cake, for example.
2. One eye is SMALLER than the other ???
3. Is that an extra chin or is the light hitting me funny ?
I actually take really good pictures of myself with those disposable cameras designed to be used at as close as 2.5 feet. I try to never photograph from the front, but at an angle. I have really wide shoulders and hips, even when I was skinny - that's the way I'm arranged, so from the front I look very formidable, but a side shot, I'm like a 2X4 with boobs.
When Kyle and I get married I am going to be the biggest anal-neurotic-obsessive-beeotch-control freak abouth the pictures.
But who isn't ?
