thanks for ur detailed mail.. Actually Im trying to limit the calories too.. I try to be around 1000/day but I know I go bit over.. I weight myself on march 30th it was 205 which is way too much for someone with my height(5'2'')and I started counting calories.. on April 9th I weight again and it was 200:-) but Its hard to keep even 5 lb off.. everytime I eat something its 203:-( Im thinking of starting some exercise but find it very hard to start.. lazy me.. for 2 days Im thinking of going on tuna & turkey sandwich. lets see hows its gonna work.. my biggest problem is that I need something hot like boiling hat.. and all low carb & low calories stuff is fruits & salads which I don't like.. Im try some soups.. im gonna give myself another week and hopefully something will work:-) thanks again

Well, keep in mind, too, that it isn't really necessary to limit your calories quite that much. In fact, anything below 1200 may make your body think that you are starving and try to hold on to the fat by slowing down your metabolism. A good rule of thumb is to calculate the weight you want to be times approximately 12 (depending on your activity level you could go up or down a bit)to get a rough idea of how many calories you should be consuming and still losing - mine is around 1600. Fruits and salads ARE good diet food, but make sure you are also allowing yourself some small portions of things that you really LIKE so you dont' get bored and give up to quickly!! I know it takes a while to find out what works, but keep on posting and reading here and it will help you stay motivated :-)
