i'm in OH and it's been hi 70's-80's and it's got me in the spring cleaning mode. Today's nice and windy so i'm doing laundry and hanging out to dry, did dishes, rearranged some stuff. got my dd's summer clothes ready and put into outfits, and i washed the blinds(6) in the LR. Now i'm getting tired..lol..making supper now still have another load to dry and then take off line and dishes and blinds to put away. I wore a tank top and cut jeans into shorts to wear. I know i look terrible with all my fat hanging out..lol..but it was so hot.

I plan on having a clean, rearranged house by midweek..LOL..and YES it's making want to hurry up and lose so i can look somewhat decent wearing summer stuff. I was so busy today that i easily stayed on plan =)

The warm weather is really motivating me! Something about the sunshine, the budding flowers, and the longer days makes me want to get outside and be active. I wish DH's knee was better so we could go hiking and camping. I love the Spring. :)

We have huge plans for the summer. I am moving back to the states after 4 years in Japan. It will be my first 4th of july on American soil in 4 years and the first time I have seen my family in over a year. They have yet to see my baby. I can't wait to shop at Target ,eat watermelon and tomatoes from my dads garden and drive over 40 mph on the "right" side of the road.(the speed limit in most places is 60 kilometers.) It is warm here pretty much all year so warm weather is not a motivator, but moving is a big one.

This weekend was wonderful..yet it didn't motivate me food wise and I ate bad all weekend.I did get lots of excerise though and since it was warm enough and I killed my capri pants(still crying about that one),I tried on all my shorts that I couldn't fit into last year, and they fit!!!So getting back into the eating better this week :)

We are planning to go camping hopefully twice this year.Once with the in-laws and once with some friends and their kids...should be fun. While I have enough shorts for the summer,I'm hoping by fall I will need to buy some smaller pants(lol, summer is not really my favorite season, can ya tell? Already thinking fall)...can't wait!I think we're also planning on getting a small pool(good enough sized for DH and I though),so I want to be able to fit into my bathing suit I bought and have never worn yet.

Congrats on fitting into those shorts! I still have clothes in my closet that are snug, so I can't wait to fit into them again. I'm with you, I like spring and fall better than summer. I can't stand the heat and humidity. But I'll take summer over winter any day!

Telling ya'll I'm wierd...and old (for those in chat last night)

I love the heat! I think what makes this thread interesting is that we live in so many different places everything is different.

I have my clothes for warm weather out all year round since I never know if Texas will decid to be 70 at New Year's. I have never experienced the cold like ya'll have so I don't even know what it is like to have half the things ya'll do.

Isn't it interesting how diverse this country is in something as simple as the weather?

I know what you mean. People like you from the south can't understand how we can live in a climate that gets as cold as it does in the winter (sometimes we don't understand it either when it's 5 degrees outside lol!) But I don't think I could live in the south because I love spring and fall too much and I would miss them if I lived in the south. I also don't like it when it's too hot and humid in the summer. Fortunately, it only lasts about 2 months here, so I can put up with that. Plus I have central air in my house, so I can always stay cool there.
