First one....why is it when we are the same weight as another we can't be in the same size of clothing? It is rather fustrating to see that and realize you can't wear that size. I think I am just way to curvy for my own good.

Second one....why do we have stores that make clothes for the fluffier than average women not cut the sizes true to size??? I hate LB for that reason. Still fumming over the fact I am in a 26/28 shirt in that silly store when I know I am a size 16/18 in the big designers. Look at that difference. HUMPHING

Third one....fiber is evil. I don't care if it is good for you. My tummy is rebelling and let me tell you it's winning the battle. Nothing I want to eat is sitting well but bread is. YEAH AND JOY. Sheesh coke is the only thing keeping it from going into a full assault.

I've got you beat by a quarter inch at 5'7 3/4", lol! The clothing industry definitely doesn't understand an hourglass figure. Years ago when I was "small" (yes, at one time I actually weighed 120), I couldn't find skirts to fit correctly. If they fit my butt, they definitely were a couple of inches too big in the waist. I don't think I'll ever have that problem again, but my dream is to be able to fit into a real size 10. Now if I can just change my mental outlook from "I think I can, I think I can" to "I know I can, I know I can"!

We've had lots of new people since I posted PCOSinfo last, so I started a new thread about it.

See, you're right Linda, that is what I was thinking about the height thing. I am 5'8"-5'9", and I am proportioned really well, and most people say "You weigh that much?" when I go to the doctor's b/c I don't look it...it's one of those great mysteries of life. I am still officially a 20, but I can wear skirts nad dresses in 18.

Hi :)

I have the same problem with fiber. My body does not want those fiber supplements, and my taste buds do not want the drinks. The ones in pill form actually made me nauseous! I tried it a second time just in case it was something else that caused the sickness, but it was the fiber pills. I hope that doesn't scare anyone away from it, I think it's an individual thing how they affect you.

I also don't like most food that has fiber, although I do like popcorn (with butter and salt of course!) I know that's not the best way to get fiber. Apples are good though but aren't in season now. I know whole grain bread is supposed to be good but I can't stand the taste and texture of it, I like Italian bakery bread :)

Take care,

I have some regular rise pants in size 10 that are loose, but not too big.

My waist is about 28".

At my lowest weight (97 pounds) I wore a medium or large in most clothes and size 10 and 12.

For low rise stuff...well I can't even find anything that fits because most stores don't carry anything below a size 5.

Plus I'm short.

I like my clothes tight.

I gave a pair of size 10 capris to my mom today that were 4" too big for me in the waist. She weighs less than me and is 5 inches taller. They fit her perfectly. Ha for not working out, mom.

I need to go out and buy some new capris. Hopefully in size 2 if anyone has them.

Yeah Sara, we're all different. That's why although I'm addicted to the scale, I guess weight isn't as important as measurements. When you look at my weight and your weight, it looks like I should be thinner than you, but in reality it's the other way around. That' why sometimes I don't believe those weight and BMI charts. They group everyone together and everyone's different.

By the way, I know I mentioned this in the other post, but I'm really happy for you that you can put on those 18's! It's such a great feeling when you can go down to the next size. WTG!!!

Thank you so much. I bought this skirt from a Consigning Mothers sale a couple of months ago, and I have been trying it on for a while, seeing if it would finally fit me, and today was just 'the day' I guess. I have not been this size since I was a sophomore in high school--granted that was merely 4 year ago, but still that is such a big deal to me. I love it. Yesterday I wore a skirt I haven't fit since then!!I'm just like YAY!! lol

And, how tall are you linda??

I'm 5'3". So I guess that's why even though I weigh less than you, I'm still in a 20. I weigh 225 right now. I have a pair of size 20 jeans that I can't even button yet, but I keep trying, and I'm getting closer! It's funny, though that all my other 20's fit me perfectly. Go figure.

Right, see like I said, I am 5'8.5", and so, that helps a little bit...and nobody is shaped the same at all...some of my 22's still fit me with a belt, and some of them fall off, and my 20's, some are too tight, some are loose, and some fit perfectly, it just depends on the brand really. I like Old Navy jeans--they fit good... and Lane Bryant, whenever I first try them on are ALWAYS a little snug, but then I take them home and they fit me...you hafta stretch them out.
