Just wondered for those of you who have lost a lot. I need to lose about 115 pounds. I wear a size 9 ring now. Just hoping I won't have to resize my wedding ring again for awhile. In high school I wore a size 8. My fingers are fat too, lol.

Well, when I got married I was heavy, but I'm heavier now than I was then. I'm still wearing my ring, but I can't take it off my finger. I know that I used to be able to take it off if I needed to, so I know my fingers got fatter when I gained weight. So your ring size will probably get smaller as you lose weight. If you don't want to have your rings resized, they have inserts that you can put in them to make them fit your finger if the ring is too big. HTH.

My wedding ring (120 pounds ago) is a size 7, and my anniversary band is a 9. I can *squeeze* into my wedding ring - with soap, at the right time of day ;-)

Oh Lord, YES. In December I was a size 5 ( I have tiny hands and no knuckles to speak of) and now I am a size 4.5. How a 5'7 165 pound woman can have this ring size is beyond me. Your ring size WILL go down !

The ring I have is a 'pre-engagement' ring ( or as Kyle puts it, the "SHUT UP" ring. Hey, he's right - it got me to shut up about diamond engagment rings for a while !) I have a white gold band with three emerald cut Tanzanite stones and two diamonds on each side of those.

Maybe one of those little rubber thingies they use for sizing will help in the meantime. You don't want to fool with the ring too much...
