We grill out a lot on the weekends so I have started grilling several extra chicken breasts. Then I buy the bag salads and I have an instant lunch for the week. Or you can make ahead your salads and put a paper towel in to soak up the moisture. (leave out the cucumbers and tomatoes.)

Get rid of any tempting foods in the house. That way when you feel like binging it won't be there to binge on.

As I think of more I will add to this.

I try to drink a ton of water and the tooth brushing trick helps too. I find if I distract myself I forget to eat, but only if I'm not truly hungry. I have learned to differentiate between 'real' hungry and 'bored, emotional, bored, tired, stressed, BORED' eating. Diet Ginger Ale is a weakness of mine - but just Schwepps..Canada Dry has a funny aftertaste.

Good ones Shawna!

I grill extra chicken breasts when I make dinner. That way, if I'm pressed for time over the next several days, I can grab a chiken breast and put it on a salad and voila, lunch or dinner that is quick and much healthier than fast food.

Speaking of fast food, there are some better choices out there. I do wipe off any condiments such as mayo or special sauces from the top bun. Better yet, throw the top portion of the bun out before you eat it.

~be sure to read labels

~if count/track calories be sure to count what you put in/on food

~sometimes when i get a late night craving i'll just eat a pickle spear mine are 0-5 calories a spear i forget and cat is sleeping on my lap so don't wanna get up

~if you don't have time for a workout just do some crunches, leg workouts,walk/jog in place, lift weights. I'll sometimes do this while watching tv if i didn't have time/energy to workout that day and don't want to do a aerobics tape
