This is my first time to this board and I just want you all to know how proud I am of you. After reading through a few of the messages I have a little more hope. Last year I succeeding in losing only 20#, but I consider it progress. I still have 140# to go.:( I wish I was as deticated as most of you. Thanks Again, Brenda

Welcome to the board from one brenda(though most call me Bren)to another! There are alot of dedicated women on this board, myself not being one of them lately...just call me lazy =/ Hopefully though with coming here more often maybe we can both get into healthy eating and exercise and get in shape =) Hope to see you around more often!

Wow, Im shocked. You could knock me over with a feather.

Most people start on the board with "Hi, I'm me. blah blah blah" everyone says welcome and all become friends.

Others (not naming any names) make their first post an attack on someone else and wonder why they get attacked back.

......Then mebrenda post.....

Your first post has lifted alot of hearts. Calling them your hero without really knowing them. You will get just as much support back (if not more). I wish everyone would enter the board as warmly and brightly as you have. It was a great change of pace.

There are alot of good people here with good advice and will give you all of the encouragement you will need. A small select few are very harsh, but if you read some of their post with a VERY open mind, you can get some good info off of them as well. Some of their post are better off ignored. Take what you can get from it and throw the rest away.

I hope you recieve a warm welcome and hope to see more of you here.

The hero dies at the end of a drama. And they say there are no heros in the 20th century, not since the 18th. Modern man (or woman) has to rely on himself/herself and not on some hero "out there." So the hero (or heroic at least) has to lie within, if anywhere. Welcome to the board. Look inside for inspiration, because that's where it's located.
