I am curious...anyone else sharing their homes with an animal pal?

We have Jersey, 2, a mixed breed dog. She's about 50 lbs and SO sweet.

Dixie, 2, a grey and white cat with 7 toes on her front feet.

Dakota, 2 months, black kitty with white markings

Anyone else?

I have 2 pets, one dog and one cat.

Feyd, our dog,is a 5 year old flashy fawn boxer who loves to bug the snot out of me.He thinks he's small enough to sit on laps and feels that you should be overjoyed when he licks your face...or drools on your favorite clothes. He also feels that since the kids play with his toys,he should play with theirs as well.

Boo,my 6 year old lil black kitty,is shy and a real witch. She only comes out at night when the dog and kids are sleeping, and she sleeps in between my legs...or as my hubby says, her kitty nest. She hates being petted though, and got her name because as soon as you move or say boo, she's running for a hiding spot.

I'd love to get some birds, finches to be exact...I used to raise them when I was younger(my mom hated it)but my DH isn't to fond of small birds.Maybe another cat though =)

I just watched a show on the science channel about quantum physics. They went on and on about how nothing exist/happens until the wave collapses and the event/subject is observed/measured. I love the history/science/discovery/learning channel, but that show was a little too much for me.

We have two rats, Bella and Lucy. They are sisters/littermates and are a type called 'dumbo' because their ears are a bit bigger. They are also 'hooded', which means they have a black head and shoulders with a stripe running down their back to their tail. Th rest of the body is white. They have tiny pink toes and tongues.

Bella is short for Princess Bella, namely because of her attitude. Lucy is short for Lucyfur (or Lucifer, because she IS the spawn of satan).

They are a little over four months old, and are rather petite for fully grown rats. Bella likes coffee and beer. Lucy likes tea. They eat all of our leftover produce like lettuce butts, peelings, cores - you name it, they eat it. Stale cereal, bread...

Total garbage disposals.

Actually, it's more like they share their house with me and my husband! We have two dogs,

and it seems everything revolves around them but we love them dearly. They're getting older now so there's health problems. We found them both as puppies. Kelly who is 12 was abandoned at a RR station and Mandy 13 was being given up by an older woman who could'nt take care of her. They were like lost souls in the beginning but they grew to love one other very much and are very protective of each other. It's nice remembering those years when they were very young and all the crazy things they did!
