As you all know, back in February, I had my cholesterol done, and it was high. And I did the low fat, low carb thing for three weeks before seeing the dietician, who tweaked here and there, and limited my calories.
February Cholesterol Numbers:
- Total: 292 (Yikes!)
* Triglycerides: 106
* HDL: 61
* LDL: 210 (Double yikes! My 'bad' cholesterol was REALLY bad!)
Today's Numbers:
- Total: 213 (Down almost EIGHTY points!)
* Triglycerides: 114
* HDL: 65 (The 'good' got better!)
* LDL: 125 (Lookin' good!)
I did this in a little under two months, so let's hope that by June, I will be under 200 for my total!***Kicking myself that the dietician was right***
The whole reason I've been busting this diet out is to prevent having to go on cholesterol lowering meds. It's looking like I won't have to, now. And imagine how much better my numbers would be if I excersized more?
***Conceding I am FLAGRANTLY GUILTY of not excersizing as much as Dr. told me too*********
