This is my first day on this board. I have been doing the South Beach Diet and Walk Away the Pounds for the last week. I have lost 10 lbs so I'm pretty excited. I have exactly 100lbs to loose. I am currently 265--I was 275 last week and according to the doctor, I need to be around 175-180. I am 5'10 tall so according to my friends, I don't look like I weigh 275 but I do. I need encouragement and alot of prayer cause I really want to do this this time. I am 31 yrs old and I have 3 children ages 9,4,and 2 and a wonderful husband who loves me no matter what size I am. But I would like to be healthy for my kids especially so that I can do more activities with them. I would love an e-mail buddy dbrdshaw@netscape.net

I'm doing low carb too (atkins)...I've been on plan since August 2003 and I've lost about 75 pounds so far. I also started around 275. So we have some things in common! :o) It's really exciting when you start losing weight and people start noticing...
