OMG...I just got this book called AstroAnalysis for Taurus (they have them for all the sun signs...I'm just really interested in Astrology lately...lol). So I'm reading about the taurus personality and things to be aware of that are typical of this sign. And here's what made me nearly fall to the floor:

"Most Taurus individuals have an inordinate fondness for comfort and the good things in life. Remember, you were born with a splendid constitution. If looked after, it should see you through to a ripe old age. But if you overeat and follow your tendency to avoid all forms of exercise, your health problems will quickly multiply. You do love nature and wide open spaces, but are inclined to do your deep-breathing exercises behind the wheel of a car."

Okay, I know that is really general but I had to lol when I read "your tendency to avoid all forms of exercise". OMG, that is sooooo me. It also said that we Taurans have trouble with over-indulgence (over-eating). Oh man...that explains soooo much...rofl.

It also says we are an earth sign which would mean that me wanting to see the top of that mountain is perfectly natural. ;o) It's the *climb* that I'll have to work against my nature to do...lol.

Okay...I just thought that was really funny and frighteningly accurate. I really think this might be a good source for anyone who is an astrology novice like me...there's a whole series called AstroAnalysis but I don't see any author on it...and also, check out http://www.astro.com and http://www.widgetsworld.co.uk for other cool stuff. :o)

btw, I was born May 20 which puts me on the Taurus/Gemini cusp so I have a lot of gemini influences too...I'll have to get that book next. I also realized that I am at the beginning/end of a 7 year lunar cycle (I'll be 28 this month and also have my 7 year anniversary this month) so I apologize in advance if I'm a little psycho...lol. Analyzing and evaluating EVERYTHING in my life lately (and that was before I started looking into all this astrology stuff). I think it also explains about the timing of my weight loss...7 year lunar cycles are a time for change apparently.

Okay...I'm really enjoying this way too much...lol. Sorry for babbling on!

yes i like astrology.my sis and i read each others tarot cards on our bdays, holidays or whenever. I keep saying i'm going to buy myself a set but always forget to look for em or put on wish list.i also got a free report and it was so right on. As for horoscope's i haven't been looking in awhile, my email pages have them set up so i sometimes look to see what it says =0)

Is the book your talking about small paper you get at grocery stores? i'll haveta check out the sites. Always looking for something good

here's my horoscope today suprising it's right on i am sore today, but i plan on going to Y and taking tomorrow off or just taking a walk then but today maybe i'll nap or take a bubble bath instead..LOL..

Have you been exercising too rigorously lately, dear Aquarius? If so, you might be feeling some irritating little aches and pains in your legs and feet. Stay off them for most of the day, and when you exercise, concentrate on stretches. Spend some time soaking in a hot tub or jacuzzi if you can. The old saying "no pain, no gain" has pretty much been discredited! Yoga or Tai Chi could serve you as well as aerobics today. Stick with them!

No, I got it at Half Priced Books...it's pretty big and actually has charts in the back for where the planets are through 2015 (for taurus in this book...but they have a separate book for each sun sign).

I am on the cusp of Taurus/Gemini and I just read something with Gemini characteristics (gemini is my rising sign) and realized what a mix I really am...lol. I guess it just never clicked that someone born at the beginning of the Taurus sign is going to have some Aries influence and someone at the end will have Gemini influence and someone in the middle will be the dead-on Taurus to a "t"...lol. taurus are usually set in their ways and like things to stay the same..which is totally true for me EXCEPT, I really have a wanderlust which is the gemini in me. I like controlled change....lol. I contradict myself internally...no wonder I am so confused all the time! lol

I think that book at normal price is like $13....I got it for $5 I think. It's put out by the Berkley Publishing Group.
