I turned on the Today Show this morning just as Katie was interviewing Kelsey, and last night (I think it was) on Dateline, I saw an interview with the entire cast. It seems Cheers was on for 11 years, and so was Fraiser and Kelsie had wished, from the first, that his show would have a successful run for as long as Cheers. So they are all going out just as they hoped...on top.

I already miss Friends, even though it will probably be in syndication forever and ever. But I also miss Home Improvement and I know I'll miss Frasier. But the one I miss the most is Fame. I loved that show. When we lived in England it was the only American show besides Dallas and Dynasty. I lived for Fame. Why doesn't that run in syndication anymore? :(

I loved Cheers, Golden Girls and Sisters. What great shows. Oh and Picket Fences.

LOL - this is going to sound lame, but Dr. Quinn, Medecine Woman. I LIKED that show, and it was wholesome family entertainment, and they cancelled it so abruptly that even the stars were shocked and hurt....they wanted something more "hip and happening" to appeal to a younger audience, so they replaced it with L.A. Doctors...which I think lasted less than one season. HA! I spit on their (metaphorical) graves!!

Oh how could I forget Dr. Quinn...what a wonderful show. Sometimes I catch it on the Hallmark Channel, but I never know when it will be on so it's usually an accident. ANd you're right, that was good family entertainment. Sure reminded me of Little House on the Prairie, which I also miss. :(
