Hey, Shawna, why don't you save the cash that you would have spent on WW and put it into a "Treat Shawna" fund...so every month that you are able to stay steady without needing WW, you can keep putting the money in, and buy yourself something cool at the end of a few months. I think that would be a good way to keep on track! I think I need a "Spoil Sabrina" fund, myself hahaha!! ~Sabrina
>>The reason I ask is because most of your posts are so filled with disgust and self rightousness and anger.<<
Wow, talk about taking a flying leap to an outrageous conclusion! My posts are not filled with any such thing, none of them and certainly not this one to Shawna. She asked whether she should quit WW, and all I said is that's entirely up to her. She should do whatever she wants to do.
>>Are you a former fatty who lost a ton of weight and is now on the militant bandwagon of "if I can do it then everyone should!" <<
And if you've read *my posts* then you would know my weight situation. Your post sounds like a desire to flame, so here's the bucket of cold water tossed onto it. Not interested in arguing with you. And to reiterate, Shawna should do whatever she pleases to do vis her membership in WW. As she's admitted, several times now, and as the board history shows (her posts from way, way back last summer), Shawna weighed abt. 180 plus pounds almost a year ago, and she STILL weighs 180 plus pounds. So if money is a concern, she apparently hasn't followed the WW *diet* in the past year (though she claims to be paying dues)so she may want to ask herself what she wants to do....whether lose weight, or remain obese...and what she hopes to get out of WW. I honestly don't care how she spends her money, or if she loses or gains any weight. It's all up to her. And IF she thinks she may want to become a normal weight, and IF she thinks WW can help her get there, and IF she plans on starting their plan and then following through with it *this year* then maybe she might WANT to stay in, pay the dues, and start following WW. Otherwise, maybe she has better uses for her time and money. But it's entirely 100% up to Shawna, and whatever Shawna wants to do.
And then, of course, plenty of people in this world lose weight and get healthy (and stay there) without following some company's diet plan, just by using common sense and following their own. Whatever she does, she just should ask herself what she wants and then do it. It's that simple. Realy, IT IS. No one here can get inside her head and *know* what Shawna would like to do most. All anyone here can know, because when she's listed her weight here it shows, is that Shawna has said for the past year that she's a WW member and her posts indicate that she's never lost any weight. So she should think about it, and do whatever makes her most happy.
Does that clarify it for you? Good!
Have a happy day! It's a beautiful Friday and I intend to!!!
Okay, sorry if that was a a pound or two (or even 10 ) off. Basically, it's the same. Your posts from last summer record your weight just under 200 pounds and now you record abt in the same range, give or take a couple pounds (as I said). Still, it's entirely up to you whatever you want to do vis WW. Have a happy Friday.
Forte- it wasn't my intention to 'flame' as you say. It was a question to an observation that I've made to several of your posts.
I haven't read any post of yours referring to your weight situation which is why I asked. I also asked because I have had experience with people who have quit eating, drinking, smoking, whatever their vice may be and once they have succeeded, have shown a disgust and intolerance for those who have not.
While I don't frequent the board that often, I do like to check in and lurk and see how people are doing. So as to arguing with you, not my intention. I asked, you answered.
I NEVER say anything I don't MEAN. And I don't think there's anything inappropriate in my posts.....but if you think so, feel free to report it. Have yourself a nice Monday in the meantime.
As usual, a polite request followed up by a rude answer. It was a request by a CL to tone down your comments regarding Shawna (i.e. should she choose to remain obese---what's up w/that, Forte? Shawna is NOT obese, not according to medical guidelines.....)Put-downs (disguised as your truth) aren't needed here.
But, you've heard this all before, and you will simply justify it w/some sort of pseudo-professional sounding baloney that we all know is just another way for you to put us down. I'm sure you'll find a way to put me down, too, just like you do anyone who doesn't agree w/you or subscribe to your negativity.
Good day, Forte. Lovely Monday to you and a peachy week. We all eagerly await your next putdown.

Once again Forte, you like to blow things out of proportion.

WTG Shawna, I'm sure the WW WOE is well ingrained in your head, see what other small changes you can make and you'll be at goal before you know it!
