Jeepers Creepers, Forte - what the heck is the matter with you?? Is it possible not to be *rude*?? You sound like a stalker referencing Shawna's posts from a year ago to verify her weight, and calling 180 pounds "obese" after all she lost is really in poor taste. Then you go on about her "obviously not following the plan". This was no effort to help, inform, or support, it was just plain old criticism with absolutely no "point". I doubt that you are so perfect that you have any right to run other people down like that, yet you seem to enjoy acting like a jerk. I keep telling myself that I won't respond to your garbage, but you frequently disgust me.

Every opinion one gives, every diatribe one launches reveals to the world who we really are. Are you revealing your true self? That is a question to be answered by all of us.

Shawna,

>>Been doing some serious thinking...<< Well, I guess that beats **unserious** thinking by a country mile. Well, you know, I kinda agree with Forte on this one. Do whatever you want to do. If you want to stay in WW, but try to follow their program this time, then you should do that. If you don't want to, then don't. It's all a matter of **personal preference** after all, and you only have to please yourself. So just pick one, or the other, and do it. And have fun **doing** it, this time around.

That is a tough decision- but I can totally see your point! My sister just joined WW and is enjoying it, but then again, she is just learning the whole concept. You are a veteran. Sounds like you have the right attitude and motivation. Plus, you have us to keep you in line, right?

BTW, I am new here, but am glad to offer support!

Gosh, Forte/Kinja.

I used to be a little upset, but now I'm just sad for you. I've been sitting back and observing, and I can't help it.

I really hope that you can find another way to have whatever needs met that you are fulfilling by behaving this way on these boards.

I sincerely wish you the best,

Erin

I know what you mean about being sad for him/her/whatever. I saw a quote today that reminded that some people are hateful out of fear.

"I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain."

- James Baldwin

Perhaps there's something so hurtful in some people's lives that they can't help but be hurtful to others, because doing otherwise would create a vulnerability they aren't equipped to deal with. I prefer this belief, honestly, to the belief that people are just blatantly cruel with no reason or benefit.
