mine is pretty boring--I went with the first initials of each of my children's first names, Katherine, Scott, Andrew and Stuart and added mom. Sorry Rely-no interesting names on this end. KSAS

Mine comes from an Irish fairy tale. Oonagh was the brave and cunning wife of Finn McCoul. They were giants. She helped him trick another giant to win a contest of strength.

I used to shelve children's books at the library in high school. I came across the fairy tale and liked the character, so it became my aol screename, waaay back in the day. I actually met my husband of 4 years using that screename (dorky, I know). The 96 is the year I graduated high school, I tacked it on because plain oonagh was taken.

My parents also have a newfoundland dog named Oonagh, but she came after the original screename.

Sunflower because I like sunflowers (also a throwback to when I met my husband online - I used that and Sunny), 56 = dh's favorite number (it was his # in football), and 77 = year I was born.

I'm a coffee hound. I absolutely love coffee. Coffee_bean was taken, so I added the '123.'

Well, as the online persona formerly known as 'bugnugget', that came from the nauseating pet names Kyle and I have for each other. I mean sickeningly saccarine sweet, because we are SO not like that. Although he does like to be called Snugglefluff,.

Barking shark has a bit more merit. I am a sharkophile, very obsessed with sharks and horses. I love shark movies, good and bad, accurate and so far off the map it's not even funny, old and new. In the Lifetime series, there was Shark Attack I,II, and III, with some really cheesy actors. The sharks in this movie BARKED. And in Jaws: The Revenge, it came up out of the water and ROARED.

I'm sorry, but for all the millions of years sharks have been around, they STILL don't have vocal chords.

And the visual of a shark barking like a Jack Russel Terrier is amusing to me. And since there has to be AIR to make vocalizations, for every bark there is a burst of bubbles, too.

My imagination is a little TOO active.

I got the nickname in basic training back in '93 while firing on the M-60 range. I've used that as a screen name since then.
