Hi! I was just noticing that you'd mentioned in your other post about carrying most of your weight in your stomach. This is one of the signs of PCOS and I was wondering if you or your dr. had looked at that as a potential factor in your weight?
Here are some other signs/symptoms/whatever you wanna call them:
Irregular or absent periods
Numerous cysts on the ovaries in many, but not all, cases
High blood pressure
Acne
Elevated insulin levels, Insulin Resistance, or Diabetes
Infertility
Excess hair on the face and body
Thinning of the scalp hair (alopecia)
Weight Problems or obesity that is centered around your mid section
PCOS is a tricky little thing. NOT ALL SUFFERERS WILL HAVE ALL THE SYMPTOMS! In fact, most women don't have all of the symptoms.
Here's a link to a quiz if it's something you want to consider.

No I've never talked to a dr. about it before, but I have seen a doctor on a regular basis, don't have ANY of those other symptoms, and my dr. has never mentioned it as a possibility before. But now you've piqued my curiosity so I'm going to ask next time I go in.
I think that is just where I carry my weight. It's all blubbery fat. I am bigger all over, but almost all the weight is centered in my stomach.
Thanks for the tip. I will definitely ask about it!
