OHHHHHH! A Guinea Pig!!! They are just the sweetest! We just love our Sheila. She is amazing! You won't believe how much love such a little animal can inspire. We all cuddle Sheila. My DH is TOTALLY in love with her. She whistles everytime she sees him.

Sheila:"Whee! Whee! Whee! Whee!"

Ahhhhh!!!

Congrats on the new guinea pig! When I was younger, I had a number of hamsters living in my home (in cages, of course) - they were always so much fun. After owning nearly a dozen of those cute little rodents, I decided to get my first guinea pig (I think I was 16 at the time). They are a lot of fun!

When I first got my guinea pig, it was a bit scared and "jumpy" - it took a few weeks before it really began to trust me, so I didn't have a lot of play-time with it in the beginning. In time, though, it became an exceptionally loving & playful creature. You're going to have lots of fun with it, I can assure you.

I can't wait to see pictures!! :-)

Shawna, Rupert sounds really cute. I love the name! I don't have any experience with anything , but dogs, but I would guess he will calm down after while. Enjoy!

grooming small animals is not hard at all, its doing it regularly and getting them used to it thats the hard part lol.... if you are going to clip their nails yourself make sure you use baby clippers, and 2 people (just trust me lmao)

good luck with the bathing ... it sucks ..... but it cant be any worse than trying to give a hairless rat a bath HAHAHAHAHAHA you shoulda seen it ROFL
