Well, I'm at work doing a sixteen hour shift..you should have seen the bag o' food I lugged in here...

For dinner I am having a mixed green salad with red bell pepper, english cucumber,

shrimp, sliced almonds and FF basil lime vinagrette. For a meal later in the night/morning, I have more sauteed shrimp and summer squish, zuchini and red bell pepper.

Aslo there is a sack of celery sticks and a jar of low carb chunky PB which I will be mainlining at some point. BUT, if my tardo-head Sergeant can remember to get me a Great One coffee at Dunkies, I might not eat the rest of the night.

I say tardo-head because I reminded him 3 times last nite and he forgot to get me a coffee.

To prevent this from happening again, I have sealed the door to his office with packing tape and left a trail of Post-it notes into my dispatch. I will let him in when he produces the coffee.

So THERE, dammit !

I got that from Kyle, lest you think that summer squish is a night of sex in July with no AC.

Kyle was with me in the grocery store and said 'squish' instead of 'squash'. He was apparently having a moment. I found it amusing and so it stayed.

Butternut Squish, Spaghetti Squish, Racquetteball And Squish courts...

I love green beans...fresh picked ones with the weird fuzz still on them. I can go to those U-Pick places. I'd just sit there and eat. I am useless to berry pick with, and can decimate a small garden in minutes. With the exception of the eggplant. That has to be fiddled with so much to make it edible, it's not worth it.

***FF basil lime vinagrette***

That sounds GREAT!!! Where can I get it or how can I make it?

My dinner was salad: spring mix from a bag with 1/4 c. chopped apple; 1/4 c. chopped onion; 1/4 c. diced tomato; 1 fat free chicken patty; classic italian vinagrette (4 fat grams) AND 2 slices garlic bread (low fat bread, butter flavored cooking spray, garlic salt).

Now, I am wanting some ice cream... might have to give in to the low fat ice cream... just a little

HI!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Sorry, I'm having a HUGE cup of coffee..)

The Fat Free Lime Basil Vinagrette - I bought it in the grocery store, and I found most of them have it. It's a company called Maple Grove Farms of Vermont, and they are out of St. Johnsbury. Oh, and after I scoured the bottle looking, there is a website, too.

uh...hold on.... www.maplegrove.com

I'm not sure if this stuff is regioanlly distributed, or nationally, but it's pretty damn good. I lost my Cranberry Balsamic Viagrette to the boyfriend.

If this helps, the ingredients are:

Cider vinegar, water, seasoning blend (fructose, salt, lemon powder, basil, garlic powder, onion, tumeric, spices, and high fructose corn syrup.)

Ya, that tells me a whole lot, LOL!

So in our world, maybe cider vinegar, olive oil, a sweetener like Splenda, fresh basil, lemon powder, lime juice, tumeric, garlic and onion..i bet we could faker it till we make it!

I'll have to try it out...maybe I'll come close.

Laura - Do you do the Near East brand ? I love those, and there is this other brand that mixes the couscous with things like veggies (dried) and currants, or lentils, cranberries...I can't think of the name of the top of my head but I'll look next time I shop !
