Courtney, New York, 29 (gasp!), 262 down to 212 back up to 242 down to 240. Just quit Atkins to try Weight Watchers.
1. What laundry detergent do you use? How often do you do laundry?
ERA, several times a week. Bounce freshener/anti-static.
2. What is the cleanest room in your house? What is the dirtiest?
Bathroom is the cleanest, kitchen is the dirtiest (darn roomies...)
3. What is the most annoying thing that your mate does? What would your mate say is the most annoying thing YOU do? (If you dont have a mate, then answer what WOULD be the most annoying.)
The most annoying thing he does is smoke. The most annoying thing that I do is forget things. I think it's all the aspartame in the diet coke that, almost literally, mainline.
4. How did you do this week on your eating and exercise? What can you improve for next week?
I did really well. I think that the points tracker on WW is helping me. I love stuff like that. I need to improve on not dipping into my flex points next week.
5. How supportive is your family of your weight loss journey? How do you deal with it if its not good? (to include your parents, husband, children, siblings)
My sister, mother, father, etc. are all awesome about it. Everyone. They all remember me when I was itty bitty and they would all looove for me to get back to that point. My boyfriend is a little different. He met me fat, so he hasn't ever seen me that way. He lost a lot of weight on Atkins (as did I) and is vocally nervous about me switching to WW.
I'm just trying to stay positive for him. He has a hard time understanding portion control.
1. What laundry detergent do you use? How often do you do laundry?
All liquid. I wash clothes about every 4 or 5 days.
2. What is the cleanest room in your house? What is the dirtiest?
Cleanest would be the living room, dirtiest would be the kitchen. It seems I can never keep up with the dishes and my counter is always piled up with them.
3. What is the most annoying thing that your mate does? What would your mate say is the most annoying thing YOU do? (If you dont have a mate, then answer what WOULD be the most annoying.)
My husband annoys me by never putting anything back the way it was. He would probably say I annoy him by talking too much or being too negative.
4. How did you do this week on your eating and exercise? What can you improve for next week?
Eating went ok for the most part. A couple of days I went a little overboard on the snacking (darn chips and salsa). Exercise this week has been great! I have slacked alot in the last month and decided this week to get my butt in gear.
5. How supportive is your family of your weight loss journey? How do you deal with it if its not good? (to include your parents, husband, children, siblings)
My family is very supportive. Some of the family that I dont see regularly tend to gush on and on about how great I look and how good I am doing when they do see me and even though it feels good its also a little embarrassing :) I never have felt comfortable being in the spotlight.

Ok I have to comment on your post Laura!
WHYWHYWHY????
Honestly, ladies, I could write a book. This could be a whole separeate POST.
1. What laundry detergent do you use? How often do you do laundry?
Arm and Hammer, about once a week, maybe twice
2. What is the cleanest room in your house? What is the dirtiest?
my bedroom, the bathroom
3. What is the most annoying thing that your mate does? What would your mate say is the most annoying thing YOU do? (If you dont have a mate, then answer what WOULD be the most annoying.)
I can't think of anything at the moment. I like him today. :-) Oh wait! He complains a lot.
He thinks it's annoying that I bounce my leg alot.
4. How did you do this week on your eating and exercise? What can you improve for next week?
I did pretty good. Next week will just be more exercising...
5. How supportive is your family of your weight loss journey? How do you deal with it if its not good? (to include your parents, husband, children, siblings)
Everyone I talk to about it is supportive
Okay, number 1. He smokes. I don't. In my mind, this means that HE should be the one dumping icky smelly dirty ashtrays. Does he? NO. And it never fails, the darn thing ends up getting spilled. He also leaves empty cig packs all over, and there's a wastebasket approximately 7 inches from his right knee when he's at the desk!
Number 2- LAUNDRY. There is a chair in my bedroom. There is also a laundry basket. While he's never been seen sitting on the laundry basket, he has NOT mastered the art of taking the clothes off and dropping them in the basket. I would blame some sort of confusion, but apparently it's only confusing when it comes to him putting things where they go. It is physically impossible for the man to put the clothes the 20 inches to the right of the chair where the basket sits. I removed the lid from the basket so there would be NO impediment. It didn't help.
Number 3. MORNINGS. Rob is also physically unable to get up alone on work days. He is not capable of getting his own coffee, clothes, cigarettes, belt, badge, and all necessary accoutrements. All of these things must be ready and waiting when he finally crawls out of bed- 30-60 mins AFTER THE ALARM. I on the other hand, set the alarm for 30 mins before I have to leave and am never late as long as I don't have to wait for him. I am, when left alone, incredibly punctual. Rob, if left alone, would be late daily.
Number 4. I can't think of one now. Gimme a while.
1. I use a lot of different laundry soaps. Is one really better than the other? For sure one costs more than the other!
2. My room is the cleanest in the house, and the living room. However, the worst is the down stairs bathroom (Half bath, which has the cat box in it. If any of us use it, we had to go bad. It's sanitary, just has a cat box.....pu
3. If I were dating someone, it would be to borrow money, very unattractive for a man.
If we were in a relationship, or marriage, it would be to forget chivalry or manners.
4. This week, ate wrong, worked too much.
5. My family would be supportive and want to know waht I was doing if I was losing, as they are all overweight.....

Last October, we moved in together in a brand new, just MADE apartment. Virginal. The toilet still needed to be installed and the paint wasn't dry. I HATE the smell of cigs, but ONE makes me puke, while I can go into the local pub and 300 of them don't bother me as much...Well, Kyle smokes OUTSIDE ONLY, has a butt can, comes in, washes his hands AND brushes teeth before he's been back in the house for a minute. I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR. He hasn't screwed up, once. He's a bit scared of me.
Kyle is ALSO completely incapable of getting up, making java, feeding himself IF HE KNOWS I'M HOME. To get him up is a federal project. He squirms, grunts, kicks the covers around, yanks them over his head...it's really funny to watch. But if he's late now, it's not my problem. He's an adult, he'll have to deal with it. But if he's making us both late, I get out his clothes, put toothpaste on his brush, put out the hair gel and deoderant and start squawking. I'm terrible, but I'd rather just DO IT than be late. You can't train them, can't change them, they'll NEVER be as with it as women, so why bother. He is completely content with the fact I am the caretaker here. He loves it, appreciates it, and shows it. THEN WHYYYYY CAN'T HE PICK UP THE F*CKIN' TOWEL?!?!?!!!!
And he says it's easier when I'm in charge. he says he loves watching me because I'm competent, smart, take no poop, and I can get things done better than he ever could.
(Can you HEAR the sucking noise ?)
He, on the other hand, is the computer whiz and does alot of things I can't/won't.
What they are, off the top of my head, I don't know.
