Tomorrow I re-start...

I've set tomorrow as my re-start date. I'm going back on a diet that I did a year or so ago, but I didn't really give it a fair chance that time. It is through a hospital. Right now I can't afford the "medically supervised" version, with the lab work and doctor consults. But they give a basic program and "allow" you to buy their products without signing up for the expensive plan. It is mostly shakes. I think they allowed a 300-calorie frozen dinner daily. I think they also have some entrees, now. As I save up the money, I'll join the medically supervised version. I would like to have labs and such monitored.

So, wish me luck! :)

Sounds like something Methodist is doing here in Houston.

What is the name of the plan you are on? It sounds familiar but I can't place it.

Good luck in your new diet! It sounds exciting.

Thanks everyone, for your support. The diet is called HMR, it stands for Health Management Resources. I guess I won't be starting it today; they really didn't want me to without sitting through the orientation. But they sent me home with a booklet to read. Then my aunt brought over leftovers from when she did this diet, before she had to go on special low-salt, low-fat, low-everything diet, so I'm going to start tomorrow.

Since I won't be doing the medically supervised way, yet, I guess it will be at least three of their shakes a day, two of their frozen dinners OR two frozen dinners under 300 calories, and 5 servings of fruits and vegetables. Of course with 8 glasses of water. Can't forget the water! I think this is doable. :)
